I'd like to start by saying, these happenings are from my real life. Things my children have done or do :)
Now we all know being a parent has it's ups and downs! You have your good days as well as your bad days. Yesterday was a decent day in my book, that is until...
My son got very quiet, when that happens it is a dead give away he's doing something he should not be! So I stop what I am doing and go in search of him. I find him in the bathroom (if that's not a give away as to what I'm about to see) in the bathroom he had one of his sisters bracelets and was dunking it into the toilet!! I then proceed to stop him in his act and clean him and the bracelet up. Now that's not the worst thing he has put in the toilet!
1. A barbie
2. His toothbrush (he got a new one)
3. His hands
4. An entire roll of toilet paper
5. Socks
6. Dog food
7. His own food
8. Bath tub toys of all kinds!
For some reason my son likes the toilet! Anyone else have kids that like the toilet? Comment below and tell me what you've caught your kids putting in the toilet! :)
Now my step daughter, she's a sneaky one. She can get from one room in the house to the other with out making a single noise! (I think she's a mini ninja in training haha) now she's usually pretty quiet, so its hard to tell when she is getting into things. Well one day she was in her bedroom just a playing away. I didn't think much of it when she got quiet. That was a mistake! When I walked into her room I found her in a puddle of juice! That stuff is not so easy to clean up, its every where and everything is now sticky. Yuck! I guess that day she just wanted to play in puddles, she thought it was fun..I on the other hand did not find it very amusing. So the rest of the day any time she got quiet I was up and checking out what was going on. So far to this day she hasn't made any more puddles, but I'm sure it will happen again.
Now my older boy he's not so quiet about anything. He usually gets caught attempting to do things, but never gets to accomplish them. But there is a day every child gets their moment! A few years ago he managed to get a box of markers..he drew on everything
1. Paper
2. The walls
3. The floor
4. Books
5. His bedding
6. This is my favorite, his self!
I got lucky though, it was washable marker and not sharpie!! (Though he's gotten a sharpie before and he had fun drawing on his face :() It took a few hours of cleaning but I did manage to clean up all the marker. Getting it off him was more of a challenge. There was a few days you could still see where he had gotten his face with those darn markers.
What are some funny stories you have to share about your kiddos? I'd love to hear! :) thanks for coming and reading hopefully it put a smile on your face!

It's a learning process
I have learned over the years that everything is a learning process. Does not matter what it is. Could be learning to knit, bike, new language, how to blog, how to care for an animal or another human being. No matter what you're doing you're learning!
Let's just say I have had to learn a lot of things the hard way! Looking back now I do wish things could have been different. It would have been smart to approach things in a different way. Now that I can see that and admit I was wrong, I wanted to make a list of ways to stay focused while learning something new!
1.be fully committed.
2. keep an organized work space.
3. Do not multitask. (Unless absolutely needed)
4.time management (set time just for what your doing)
5.set goals
It's important to manage your time. That way you know when your going to be doing what, instead of thinking hmm I wonder when I can fit this in. Just as setting goals is very important. It helps remind you what you're trying to accomplish.
I hope that this short list helps you in reaching your goals!
One of my goals right now is to grow my business! Here's a link to both my business's http://brea93.le-vel.com/and http://www.gemnora.com/shop/breannahurshman/signup
